Dear Parents,

The Department of Education has written to school leaders and asked us to continually implement the guidance. We need you to support us fully to keep our school community safe (children, families and staff).

Please DO NOT send your child to school if they are unwell. If your child, a household member or close contact has any SYMPTOMS of COVID-19 (a high temperature, a new continuous cough, a loss of or change in sense of smell or taste) DO NOT bring them to school. Follow PHA guidance:  https://www.publichealth.hscni.net/

If your child, a household member or close contact tests positive for COVID-19 the child MUST self isolate for 10 days.

Please be aware of family or friends returning from destinations in which quarantine is required and ensure your child is not in contact with people in quarantine/self isolation.

Parents/carers must wear a face covering in our school grounds at all times. Please inform all those who bring your child to school or collect them. If you are exempt from wearing a face covering you need to contact the school in writing via email: info@victorians.belfast.ni.sch.uk.

Communication with staff on arrival and collection should be brief and always at a two metre distance. If you need to speak to staff about any matter in more depth please phone the school between 8.30am and 9am 02890744247 or email info@victorians.belfast.ni.sch.uk.  Only phone the school during teaching hours (9am -1.15pm) if it is an emergency.

Please continue to follow our school guidance

For any more information please email the school at info@victorians.belfast.ni.sch.uk

Thank you for your help and support in keeping our school community safe.

Kind Regards,

Orla McAllister
